Ann Miller has been coming to Riedenburg twice a year for almost 10 years for various sessions under the broad scope of Leadership for the students of the Gymnasium and HLW.
Ann attended the Sacred Heart school in San Francisco for her entire education before she attended university and then law school. She has been a lawyer her entire professional life, and when she began to work less than full time, decided she would create Leadership programs for students of the Sacred Heart. She comes regularly to Riedenburg, Sacré Coeur Wien, Sacré Coeur Pressbaum and Kilgraston, the Sacred Heart school in Bridge of Earn, Scotland. She has also visited Baradene in Auckland, New Zealand, the Trinita in Rome, the Sacred Heart school in Halifax, Nova Scotia and of course her school in San Francisco.
The idea behind this was the realization that her ability to succeed as a lawyer in a time when there were few women studying and practicing law, was in great part because of her education as a Child of the Sacred Heart , the education of the whole person, not only the intellect. She hopes that she may be able to contribute to the growth and success of other Children of the Sacred Heart in the world. And that working with her can also be fun for our Riedenburg students.
Ann says that she has made wonderful friends through the years in Riedenburg and the other Sacred Heart schools. It is always a pleasure to be here, she says, and to see the growth of the students of Riedenburg.
