Spending four weeks in Australia was an unforgettable experience for all of us. We are Teresa Eller, Clara Dalpiaz, Florentina Mathis and Lusia March, and we had the opportunity to experience everyday life in Australia together with our exchange students Miranda John, Lucy Baldwin, Lucy Moore and Anouk English.
During our stay, we noticed several differences between Australian and Austrian schools. One thing that stood out to us was that students can choose their lessons themselves. Since the students are not always in the same class, the class composition changes from lesson to lesson. This makes it much easier to meet new people and make friends.
One of our biggest highlights was flying together to Sydney. We explored different famous sights and enjoyed spending time together. We especially liked the Bondi Walk, where we could enjoy the beautiful coastline and the amazing views. Overall, our four weeks in Australia taught us to be more independent, open-minded and confident. We also made many unforgettable memories and friendships that we will always remember.
